Located within Westfield Bondi Junction’s fresh food precinct, Seaside Fresh occupies a highly visible position adjacent to Coles and the main escalators. The brief required the new tenancy to clearly differentiate itself from the previous fishmonger on site and establish a strong, independent brand presence.

The layout responds to both fresh seafood retail and a cooked-to-order offering, with display counters wrapping around the customer zone to allow access from multiple sides. This configuration supports strong engagement while maintaining efficient service and circulation.

Drawing on the family-run business’s long-standing reputation, the design references timber wharves and piers through a contemporary material palette of weathered timber and raw concrete. The interior feels warm, honest and grounded, balancing modernity with a sense of tradition. The result is a confident retail environment that communicates quality, experience and approachability at first glance.
