Ocean Luxe marks the client’s return to seafood retail following a period away from the industry. The brief was to refresh an inherited tenancy by reworking the front-of-house while retaining the majority of the existing back-of-house infrastructure.

New display counters and ceiling elements were introduced to soften the shopfront and create a more welcoming presence. Curvilinear forms are used to guide movement and sightlines, enhancing both visibility and flow.

The material palette is warm and understated, with travertine and granite used to differentiate fresh and cooked offerings. Tiered ceiling elements with a mottled finish add depth and perspective, while glazed blue tiles along the back walls introduce contrast and focus. The resulting interior is contemporary, tactile and inviting, with a refined expression that allows the seafood to take centre stage.
