Taste Fresh & Taste Baguette
Edmondson Park

Programme : 2020
Area : 186 sqm

This project brings together two related but distinct brands—Taste Baguette and Taste Fresh—within a merged corner tenancy at Ed.Square. The brief was to extend the existing Taste Baguette design language while introducing a new spatial identity for Taste Fresh, an all-day dining and bar venue focused on seasonal produce and informal gathering.

Taste Fresh is positioned along the external frontage and conceived as a semi-outdoor space. Dry-stacked stone walls, openable windows, cobblestone flooring and overhead greenery create a relaxed, garden-like atmosphere. A deep terracotta bar anchors the space, referencing the material language of Taste Baguette, while backlit breeze blocks reinterpret the brand’s petal motif.

Moving inward, the experience transitions seamlessly into Taste Baguette. Coffee service and pastry displays draw customers through the tenancy, with encaustic tiles guiding circulation and fluted terracotta tiles defining key counters. Timber detailing and visual connections to back-of-house reinforce warmth, transparency and continuity between the two venues.
