Located at the primary entry to Sydney Airport T2’s food court, the Pulp & Grind kiosk was conceived as a high-impact flagship within a newly revitalised precinct. The brief called for a design that would formally introduce the brand to a broad audience while responding to the airport’s expectations for clarity, durability and presence.

The concept draws directly from the brand’s name and product offering. “Grind” informs the grounded, robust base of the kiosk, expressed through solid forms and material weight. In contrast, “Pulp” is interpreted through a sculptural overhead element that is soft, curvaceous and organic, segmented like fruit and suspended above the counter. Together, these elements establish a clear visual hierarchy and a memorable silhouette.

A restrained palette of raw, natural materials and neutral tones provides a calm backdrop for the brand’s fresh, unprocessed food and drink offering. The purity of form and clarity of expression reflect the brand’s values—wholesome, honest and uncomplicated—while creating a distinctive and dynamic presence within a high-traffic airport environment.
